Volunteering at the VORTEX

VORTEX is seeking enthusiastic volunteers for the front and back of the house. We welcome new and experienced volunteers alike, and have many varied opportunities for involvement in our exciting production schedule.

We are always in need of Front/Lobby assistance. In exchange for working a short, pre-show shift in our cafe, box office, or lobby, volunteers enjoy seeing the production du jour. Those who find this satisfying may wish to apply for training as a VORTEX Manager on Duty.

Help with the Production

In addition, the VORTEX always needs Stage Managers (compensated), Assistant Stage Managers, Dressers, Deck Crew, Technical Assistants and Operators (lights and sound), as well as those skilled in construction and design. Receive training, and be an integral part of VORTEX Rep Co's performance schedule.
