Kimberley Mead

Kimberley has been with the VORTEX since 2004. She has a BA in Art from San Jose State Universit and she is currently pursuing a Masters degree from St. Edwards University. As an actress she has worked with Austin Shakespeare, Naughty Austin, and The Vestige Group. As a photographer she has worked extensively with the Vortex, Austin Shakespeare, Hidden Room Theatre, The Vestige Group, and Scottish Rite Theatre, among many others.

Throughout her artistic career, she has been a story teller. Her interest in design, acting, and photography all show a deep passion for exploring the human condition and creating voices which beckon and intrigue audiences to look and listen deeply.
