Seeking courageous performers for new work. Actors, singers, dancers, and musicians. Actively seeking diversity in casting. Performers of any color, race, age, and gender. These projects NEED actors of color. Compensation.

Please prepare one-minute contemporary monologue and approximately one minute of song. If singing, bring sheet music in the appropriate key. Accompanist provided.
Required: 6 copies of current resume.
Recommended: One headshot.

Auditors include Bonnie Cullum (Producing Artistic Director), Aaron Brown (In-Betweeners Author), Chris Lavely (In-Betweeners Musical Director), Content Love Knowles (Oceana Musical Director), and Heather Barfield Cole and Michelle Fowler-Amato (VORTEX Associate Artistic Directors).

The Secret Lives of the In-Betweeners. World premiere. New American musical--think Rent and Company. Urban Hipsters. Hope and Fear. Life and Love In-between. By Aaron Brown, Austin playwright and composer. Directed by Bonnie Cullum. Musical Direction by New York Guest Artist, Chris Lavely.
4w/4m. Performances: February 6-March 7, 2009.

Oceana. World premiere. The next evolution of Dark Goddess. Ocean deities. Underwater action. Environmental awareness. Music and magic. Collaborative creative process. Need 10-15 Actors, Singers, Dancers. Conceived and directed by Bonnie Cullum. Text by Susan Estelle Kelso. Musical Direction by Content Love Knowles. Performances: May 9-June 6, 2009.
