of the African-American Spirit.
With some of the most vibrant interaction between audiences and performers that you may ever experience, the Hip Hop Theater Explosion will have you on your feet with your fist in the air. This amazing show features some of the best spoken-word artists, dancers, and MC's Austin has ever produced.
Since it began in 2008, the Hip-Hop Theater Explosion has presented some of the best new hip-hop poetry, dance, music, and theater in Austin. Don’t miss the show that has launched the work of dozens of young artists and showcased the work of star performers.
This installment of Hip-Hop Theater Explosion features The Cipher, DaShade Moonbeam from Blacklisted Individuals, Ebony Stewart (Neo Soul Slam Champion), Chelsea Manasseri and Whitney Weathersby from the cast of For Colored Girls..., beat box artist Maestro, Outta Kontrol Dance Crew, Class of Fame, Xenogia Spoken Word Collective, and many more.
