Panoptikon Presented by VORTEX
Panoptikon is a factory for extracting the souls in the city of Blackground. In exchange for their souls each citizen is given an egosphere which provides ecstatic stimulation via psychic transmissions. The souls are fed to their emperor, BlackSun, to supply him with the necessary power to hold back a huge storm which surrounds the walls of the city. Once a cycle, BlackSun descends from his Floating Palace to the Spiral Chamber to receive the souls from his sister and wife Physis, Grand Soul Collector and Empress of the Blackground... and so this cybernetic opera begins...
